I'm Dulla, and Kilimanjaro is more than just a mountain to me - it’s the path that shaped my life. Growing up as the 11th of 14 children in Manjo village, my 95-year-old mother taught us that no matter how little you have, you can always give more.
At 18, I became a porter with only primary education. My first climb—feeling the weight on my back, the cold air biting higher up—sparked something inside me. Every step wasn't just for me, but for my family's future.

For five years, I carried others' dreams while saving for my own. I put myself through school and college, then worked six more years as a mountain chef, learning everything about the treks and dreaming of leading climbs myself. Eventually, I made it - guiding climbers from around the world safely to the summit.
I've completed over 250 summits as a guide, but I've never forgotten my porter days. I know the weight—not just physical, but the burden of unfair pay and harsh conditions. I watched men carry 40kg in flip-flops, enduring injuries they couldn't afford to treat. There had to be a better way.
That’s why I started this company. I wanted to build something different, where the heart of the journey isn’t just about reaching the top, but making sure everyone rises together. The porters, the guides, the climbers - we are all part of the same story.
When you trek with us, you’re not just climbing Kilimanjaro - you’re supporting fair wages, better working conditions, and a brighter future for the people who make these adventures possible. Because this journey isn’t just about getting to the top - it’s about lifting each other along the way.
Why Choose Us
Mission and Values
Fair treatment for our Porters
For many, Kilimanjaro is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. But for porters, it’s daily life — often under harsh and unfair conditions. Some carry up to 40kg, sleep without proper gear, and earn as little as $5 a day.
The reality is this: many porters climb the mountain with broken boots, without jackets, and with no guarantee of decent pay.
We believe that reaching the summit shouldn’t come at someone else’s expense. Because behind every successful climb is a group of people who make it possible — and they deserve better.
That’s why we ensure:

Fair wages

Proper equipment

Respectful treatment
