The Man behind the mountain
With over 250 summits of Kilimanjaro, I’ve dedicated my life to guiding climbers safely to the Roof of Africa. Kilimanjaro isn’t just a mountain to me - it’s my home and my purpose. Starting as a porter at 18, I’ve experienced every step of this journey, from carrying loads to leading hundreds of climbers to their dreams. But my mission goes beyond the summit. I built the Kili Master to create fair wages and better conditions for the porters and guides who make every trek possible. Together, we rise—one step, one summit, and one community at a time.
With over 250 summits of Kilimanjaro, I’ve dedicated my life to guiding climbers safely to the Roof of Africa. Kilimanjaro isn’t just a mountain to me - it’s my home and my purpose.
